Manami Ishimura: TAMUCC Parents Council awarded travel funding grant, 2017
Second-year MFA student in Sculpture, Manami Ishimura was awarded TAMUCC Parents Council funding for travel to Franconia Sculpture Park, Shaffer, Minnesota. Residency dates: Residency Dates: September 27th – October 2nd, 2017
Manami Ishimura joined Assistant Professor of Sculpture Leticia R. Bajuyo on a residency in Minnesota at Franconia Sculpture Park. Franconia is a nonprofit arts organization operating a 43-acre outdoor sculpture park, active artist residency, and community arts programming. This active artist residency program that serves 40 artists each year and has arts learning programming that serves over 100,000 annual visitors.
