An installation by TAMUCC Sculpture Professor Greg Reuter is part of a group exhibition curated by Gerald Lopez titled Picking Up the Pieces: Artworks on Hurricane Harvey. This exhibition is on display in the Schaudies Gallery, upstairs at K Space Contemporary.
The powerful art exhibition features local artists who felt the impact of Hurricane Harvey firsthand, whether it was by weathering the storm and/or by volunteering to help their neighbors in its immediate aftermath. Many of the artists in the exhibition utilize hurricane debris that they have gathered and transformed into compelling works of art. All the artworks in the show are sure to make a strong and positive impression.
